The c-handle is an electrically controlled operating handle. Thanks to its ergonomic handle design, it enables comfortable and fatigue-free operation of handling devices, machines and tools. The c-handle has a presence check for the operator’s hand. The operator’s hand is detected with or without gloves by enclosing at least 3 sensor fields on the outer surface of the handle and switches the corresponding digital output. This signal can be used for safety-related applications up to Plr ≤ b in accordance with ISO 13849-1. The cable connection can be plugged directly into the handle housing, and the c-handle can be mounted continuously ± 20° in space thanks to its ball connection.
